Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch till the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue
Holding the blue touch points, apply firm pressure to remove the air shroud.
Cooling Fan 01
Identify cooling fan 01 highlighted in blue.
Holding the orange touch points, lift the fan out of the system.
Control panel -Left
Identify the control panel highlighted in blue
Using the blue touchpoints, slide the backplane cover back and lift to remove.
Pull the cable latch and disconnect the control panel cable from the system board connector
Unroute the control panel cable from the side wall of the system
Remove the screws which secure the left cable cover to the system
Remove the cable cover from the system
Remove the screws which secure the left control panel assembly to the system
Holding the control panel by its sides, remove the control panel away from the system
Install
Control panel -Left
Identify the control panel location highlighted in blue
Route the control panel cable through the side wall of the system
Align the left control panel assembly with the slot and slide into place
Connect the control panel cable to the system board connector and secure it using cable latch
Install the screws that secure the control panel assembly to the system
Install the cable cover from the system
Install the screws that secure the cable cover to the system
Lower the backplace cover into the slot and slide until it snaps into place.
Cooling Fan 01
Identify cooling fan 01 location highlighted in blue.
Install the fan into the slot and push down on the connector until seated.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the air shroud with the slots on the system.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it clicks into place.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system.
Push the system cover latch down.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise.
